and why is it that when I have a gaming laptop, a PS3, a Xbox 360, an iPad, and a New 3DS, I'm content to play Tactics Ogre, a PSP game, on my Vita????
We're insane, that's why!!!

Dunno, I guess I like variety in my RPGs. I'm currently playing as a Paladin, a Miner and a Blacksmith at the same time. Now I can dig my own minerals and make my own weapons, armour and tools. I'm still only an apprentice blacksmith and an adept miner but I'm working at improving my skills. I've got a way to go before I become a Master Paladin but I'm doing quests for all three jobs at the same time and really having fun with it.
I've also been playing a little Suikoden III, Person 3 FES and Portable at the same time and I started on Tales of Hearts R. yesterday.
I definitely have to say that P3P has a better battle system than the other versions and I like that you get ability cards from your demons as they level up. I like being able to directly control all 3 team members. So James I have to give it to you on that front. I just really like being able to run around town though and the point and click still irritates me. I also don't like that they took out almost all of the cut scenes in P3P. I just don't get as immersed as I do with the PS2 game.
On the music front I initiated my Apple Music account and will keep it for the free period. I went wild and have 25 fresh albums to listen too. I have 3 Leprous albums (thanks Blake) 3 Can albums that I already own (don't ask) a Jah Wobble's Invaders of the Heart album called English Folk Music that I think Tami might enjoy most of, Noel Gallagher's latest and about 15 albums from various Japan alumni because I'm Japan (the band) obsessed. The first day I signed up I was able to get David Sylvian's Sleepwalkers and Nine Horses albums but two days on they were removed from the service. I also hate that there's no Prince on Apple Music but according to what I've read Prince has never been on iTunes.
Otherwise I'm finding a lot of obscure stuff that I like. I typed in Quiet Sun for a laugh and lo and behold the album popped up. Cool.
Like I said, I overlooked past the lack of freeroaming and cutscenes in P3P since I never played the PS2 games anyway.
On Prince, the guy really doesn't allow most of his music past CDs and music videos on tv, so like Joe mentioned, finding almost any song from him on Youtube is hard and even the official music videos that were once on Vevo got taken down by him. He's pretty much a control freak to Kubrick degree.
Both his latest solo and the Third Eye Girl album were available on Google Play Music when I had my free month. I wanted to get them again but no biggie, I can pay for them if I want them.
I know you didn't play the PS2 game(s) so I can see your point. You should though because the cut scenes alone add something to the experience, plus there's a whole epilogue that you don't experience with P3P.
