I'm thankful for Pixlbit and for all my gaming friends. I'm also thankful I have a working PS3.

Happy Turkey Day everyone! I hope everyone is able to relax, enjoy some football, and pig out later today. It's morning here, and I just brewed some Starbucks coffee (we have starbucks on holidays), and I'm looking forward to the rest of the day. I am sort of dreading the Eagles game though!
Anyway, I was thinking about it, and we all have things to be thankful for, but since this is a gaming site, I was wondering what you all are thankful for when it comes to video games.
For my part, I am thankful for indie games, and the wide variety of titles we have these days on Steam and other avenues. There's no doubt some great AAA games these days, but it's the smaller, riskier games that I enjoy. I'm thankful that we're at a point where we have true auteurs when it comes to game design, both in the AAA space, and in the indie space, and in between, and that people with vision can finally create the games they desire.
There's a lot of complaints we can aim at the current state of gaming, but personally, I find we're living in a golden age that benefits all of our tastes -- there's something for everyone these days, and niche titles can thrive as well as blockbusters. I love it.
Anyway, that's about it. What are you thankful for???
