Well guys and gals, it looks like Nintendo is ending production of the Wii U at the end of this year. I am really not sad and or happy about this. Do not get me wrong, I love my Wii U, the fact the girls can play most games off the TV and not interrupt TV watching for the wife and I or if I want to play another console. Let's face it though, there clearly has not been a new awesome game released on the system that sold the system its self. Not even Xenoblade X was as I had wanted it to be. Hopefully NX will give us console to 3DS play and also, something that has been missing from most of Nintendo, Awards or Achievements. I love Nintendo and the joy it has given me for more than 30 years but things seem to be getting stale. What do you think my friends.

THE DIVISION

All I have to say is, WOW! This has to be one of the best games I have played in a long time. My buddy and I have went in and tried some of the harder missions and gotten or asses handed to us, which is awesome! The AI seems fully aware, they will point to your location, call out your location and flank you better than any game I have played, ever. I love this game!

Thanks for games like Shovel Knight and games that are still being released on the OUYA. These type of games, great games keep oldschool gaming alive and well.

I'm still not convinced. I will wait and see, even though Nintendo has denied it too. They are supposed to give more info on the NX during E3.

I'm hopefuly the NX will be cool, but I'm still having doubts. I just want to play Zelda.

Well since as Snee has already pointed out the rumour was false I don't really think anything. I am enjoying my Wii U. There still isn't anything compelling me to buy a PS4 and an Xbone is out of the question.

I would not call is false, just denied by Nintendo. They have a new console in the works and the Wii U really does not fly off the shelf like the Wii.

I just don't see why Nintendo would deny it only to say "oh by the way we lied" in 3 months. They could have given the pat "we do not comment on rumours or speculation" response.

Anyway we'll know better in June.

But the denial could be seen as basically admitting to it as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they just don't have concrete plans, but let's face it support is about to be lost to the NX one way or the other.

Or Nintendo is being honest and this is all misreported speculation ... suuuuuuuuuuuuure. See this, mothman? You see this? The more sarcastic I am about a completely legitmate and plausible explanation. the less true it becomes. Like magic.

Honestly unless the NX is backwards compatible they probably won't discontinue production on the Wii U fast. It will probably still be sold a good while. Not to mention sells did increase on it for Pokken Tournament. So I'm honestly just gonna wait and see what the NX is about and go from there.
