How's it going? I've been playing Zelda. Sometimes I'm in shock about this open world, and the things you find in it. I'm not powerful enough to face big bosses yet, so I've just been exploring the world and climbing these towers kind of Ass Creed style to open up maps of the areas. It's a lot of fun. 

I miss playing FF12 though. I might fit some of that in.... but I bought Mario Kart this morning and that's going to be my light, arcadey distraction from the vastness of Zelda. 

I hit a wall in my book, but I got the first two parts back from the editor, and now I'm rewriting the whole thing from the beginning. It's pretty tedious, but it's coming into shape. 

It's been rainy and cloudy and humid here in the desert. Sometimes it's a bit oppressive, but when it rains, it cools off. 

My friend in France mailed me some old manuscripts I wrote twenty years ago. Mostly I can't bear to read them, but one I might revisit for a new project, a novel I tried to write when I was a teen that I never finished.
