They finally found a way to make drones seem friendly to folks. Make them deliver beer to us! Now if they could just deliver pizza we'd have it made. If they could only use drones for stuff like this and not for spying and killing, our world would be so much better. Hey,it's a start I guess. I still want to see a TV show[you know it's coming] where people build and battle aerial drones.Just blow the crap out of each other and go down in flames. Ratings bonanza!

What I'm listening to today.......

Cool idea, but where is the glass to pour my beer into?

They would probably end up spilling the beer mid-air. Hey,that's my beer!

Now this is an interesting idea. I like the novelty but once they get a solid plan going, to could be a good way of getting food/drinks without having to go through a sea of people.

How long before drunks in the crowd try to grab the damn thing as it descends to give you a beer? They assume people will be cool. Not in Tulsa they won't,I can ssure you!

Yeah, my immediate thought after all the Ozzfests I've attended was: this will make theft easier, and moshpits more violent. Also, what if I have a complaint? I don't know if I want to bring that up to someone with access to a drone. Undecided

So it's a neat idea, but it's another example of "we can, but should we?" I guess time will tell, but I'm not particularly hopeful. I guess at baseball parks it could work, but that's entirely based on my bias having mostly experiences with polite people at those. And you get enough beer drones sent to even those people..

I guess they are trying ANY idea to have commerical drones for multi purpose uses. Still if I see one of those flying around my house, I'm doing a Beckett/Castle face off with it!
