So Nintendo doesn't care about no stinking GTA-V. GTA-V who... Nintendo says --F*CK IT--in a nice and honorable Japanese way- and releases its most promising, affordable and best Wii U bundle since its US launch back in Feb 2012. Will a $50.00 USD price drop on the Deluxe Wii U console along with a free digital game download of The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD within the same launch week as the Rockstar GTA-V series change the fortunes for stagnant Wii U console sales? Kuts explains why he's decided to forgo the next generation console war, Xbox One vs. PS4 hoopla (at least for now) and go Wii U. Watch here to see why.

Well Phil I think you did good with the Wii U and yea kinda a bummer that Wind Waker was digital download only personally I like the physical copy of games, and yea the only reason I didnt get a Wii U is for the simple fact theres not alot of software for it out yet but I do beleive this holiday season may be big for tbe Wii U we shall see, and I was a ps2 guy back in the day and to me had the best game library of any system ever released of Course thats my opinion, Wind Waker was an awesome game I never did beat it but it was excellent and I had a game cube as well which I thought was a awesome system and I cant wait for your wind waker reveiw and great blog as usual

I missed out on the PS2 but I was definately happy that Sony kept releasing HD Collections of PS2 classics for the PS3. I bought and played the Silent Hill, Sly, and God of War collections and they were awesome. I always thought the Game Cube was a very underrated console. I remember I was so happy I had one especially when Resident Evil 4 was a console exclusive for it for over a year. Boy were the PS2 Resident Evil fanboys pissed at Capcom over that one. The Metroid Prime games were also at the time awesome. I remember the first time I saw the mist and water appear on Samus' visor--sometimes it's those little moments in games you remember forever.

Since you asked, I'm still holding off on a Wii U so far, but I'll get one some time. It's easy for me to keep from thinking about it so much since hardly any one talks about it. You're not helping me keep it off my mind!

I'm sure we'll see some pretty sweet deals for the Wii U on Black Friday this holiday season maybe that will be your time. Best Buy has a ton of good deals right now on Wii U stuff so for me the timing was right. I've been thinking about getting one since launch.
