Vanishing of Ethan Carter was probably the prettiest looking game I saw all year. I can't overstate how beautiful those environments are, it's stunning.

So yeah, it's really in the title. Some of these are on my GOTY list, some aren't. However they are games you may not have heard of that you might enjoy. Also, it's almost christmas and I just got home from work so if tyou're expecting effort you've come to the wrong place. You get like 3 sentences max. And no pictures. Because fuck pictures. Ain't nobody got time for that.
That joke would have been better with a picture.
Dungeons of the Endless: Fantastic game. Mixes Roguelike elements, tower defense elements, and single player DOTA elements into a weird ball of weirdness.
Always Sometimes Monsters: Every single thing you do has a consequence. No really. This is a game that says "go make rent." You can work for it, you can steal it from an old lady, or you can not pay rent and sleep on the street. It's up to you.
A Bird Story: Basically a silent film with minor interactivity, it is nonetheless a really enjoyable experience. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and it's about two hours long. I won't spoil anything, but this is basically what would happen if studio ghilbli and pixar teamed up and made a short indie game.
This War of Mine: War. War never changes. The games about it are usually pretty fucking similar too. Not this one! This one plays like 2D DayZ but single player and not shit.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter: The game looks fantastic for starters. The story is rather interesting and it is incredibly atmospheric.
Glitchhikers: It's free. It's like a car game if David Lynch made it. If you want a link, here: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=where+can+I+download+glitchhikers%3F
Legend of Grimrock: An amazing sequel to an amazing game. It's got puzzles. It's got monsters to kill. It's got walking trees. It's got my seal of approval. I wrote a review of it somewhere. Oh yeah. Here:http://plus10damage.com/blog/2014/10/24/ultimate-underworld-legend-of-grimrock-2-review
The Sun and Moon: It's like a platformer game where you can go in the platforms. Then you fall the other way in the platform and then you gain momentum and then... stuff? Idfk it's fun and you should play it.
Look. There's 8 games. 8. They're all preety good too. So if any of you cunts has Assassin's Creed Unity on your list, you're fucking dead to me.
