I like this game quite a bit. I think it was important in bringing TR back and updating the control scheme. I like the new Lara (Keeley Hawes is the perfect voice for her) and the story. I think it was a solid reboot, but I do think it was missing some key TR elements at the same time. It didn't miss the mark close to as badly as the more recent reboot though. Anyway looking forward to hearing you guys get more in-depth with this next time. Great job with this episode.

That friend of yours sounds pretty cool. I still need to get to this game. Sounds like a lot of fun and a bit different compared to a lot of 2D platformers. Bummer about the final boss. I hated that boss you are comparing it to.

Good list. I may have to try Bob's Burgers some time. I like Jon Oliver, but haven't watched a ton of Last Week Tonight. Kimmy Schmidt is still my fave so far this year. I also like Silicon Valley, B99, Man Seeking Woman and Blackish. And Jane the Virgin if it counts. I expect Rick and Morty and You're the Worst to join these this summer.

It is kind of a bummer Other M turned out the way it did. I really wanted a great third-person 3D Metroid. I'm hoping Nintendo tries again in that regard. Not that there was anything wrong with the Prime games, just would also like a great third-person one.

Great list. I've only played about half of these. Spirit Tracks, Meteos and Dragon Sword would certainly rank among my favorites on the system. I'm looking forward to trying the new Kirby. If I enjoy it, I will probably track down Canvas Curse.

I only played the demo, but thought it was pretty cool. After being unimpressed with the older Banjo games as far as platforming goes, I'm not even sure the change was all that bad of an idea.

2014 was better than I thought it'd be considering it looked pretty lackluster, but 2015 looks really insane. I know I say this all the time, but I really wish I was caught up on MGS. I love talking games a lot and it seems super fun for that. I love the term questionable in an intriguing way. The newer ones seem to control way better too which would be a plus for me.

Haha... these blogs are my favorite. You've got it covered. Though when I sit down for Festivus dinner tonight I will definitely be telling Nintendo about my issues with the ongoing debacle that is the 3DS' second stick solutions.
