Awwwww...I'm sorry.
Awwwww...I'm sorry.
I never played the Wii TP. I got the Gamecube version instead, and that was a conscious choice on my part (well my wife's, since she got it for me). I'm glad Nintendo used the Gamecube version as a point of reference instead of the Wii version, because TP HD is even more awesome on Wii U than on Gamecube.
I'm kind of glad I never got into Minecraft. And I've enjoyed plenty of other God games like SimCity. :) Right now, I can't even get my RPG Maker MV project off the ground because I'm so busy playing other games.
Florida is one of the rare handful of states I've never visited. I've always gotten my doses of sun, surf, and cheesy amusement parks in California. :)
I'm thinking of doing the same. The only game I actually took a day off from work to play at launch was Final Fantasy XII (where's the HD remaster of THAT game, Square Enix?) For Ni no Kuni 1, I had the good fortune of the launch being on a day I already had off. Hopefully Namco won't screw up with the collectors' edition of Ni no Kuni 2 the way they did selling all those Wizards' Editions to that scalper in Canada, but I did get a free hardcover strategy guide out of that deal.
I have the original print of Rogue Galaxy (and a 200-page strategy guide to go with it), but I did pick up the PS4 digital version since it was cheap and it has trophies. Sadly, it's still on old Mt. Backlog. The game is awesome, as a Level-5 game should be, but Zelda and Valkyria, man. Oh, and definitely looking forward to Ni no Kuni 2. :)
I'm loving VC Remastered as much as I did the PS3 original. That 60 FPS makes a pretty good difference. My most recent preorder was Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE on Wii U.
It works for Valkyria Chronicles 2. I have VC2 on my Vita TV and it runs perfectly. Just gotta download it on PS3 and transfer it. I just wish there were nice workarounds like that for games made for the Vita to be on Vita TV, like Ys: Memories of Celceta.
I've been a busy guy, too. I still love to play games but don't blog at nearly the volume i did when I was on 1UP, sadly. My wife enjoys watching my games/listening to the music, but I can't neglect her, and would never want to. :) All good.
Hey, I just noticed you're in Baltimore? Howdy, neighbor! I just got here a year and a half ago myself.
You know me. I'm a bit behind on Talesing. Right now I'm enjoying Valkyria Chronicles Remastered and Twilight Princess HD. And I've been keeping up with your adventures on FB, as you know. :)
