I remember hearing that, at the time, there was resistance (from the publisher?) to Strange Journey being a true numbered addition to the series because it was on handheld. Now we're getting a numbered title on 3DS, which is a handheld.

Every MG game I've played has been spoiled years before I touch it (I knew strategies for beating Snake Eater's last boss before I finished the intro).
I still love the series, and will probably buy this game twice, but it'd be nice to have a blind experience. I'm both amped & infuriated by what I saw for MGS5 so far...and I won't say anything else.
DLC Quest was a great experience; short & relavant satire, never overstaying it's welcome, never forgetting that it is a game and should be enjoyed as such.
Seems like Ground Zeroes is a prolouge to Phantom Pain, but that's just conjecture.
I'm playing Peacewalker right now (and just finished Snake Eater) which makes this trailer 10x better.
Good to know he has legit fans; as a boy with daddy issues you'd think I'd like him more, but he just got under my skin sometimes...still prefer him to Cloud & Squall's brood-off though.
Been struggling to get into MGS2 recently, so I haven't seen much...So spoiled by MGS3: Subsitance's camera (and everything that followed it).
The way you describe playing MGS2 matches my Snake Eater playthrough perfectly; as much as I wanted to be a stealth master, inevitably the shotgun would come out...and stay out.
Tidus still sucks; FFX is still awesome.
