Well now it's being ported to Switch, which is good since getting a PSX copy now is probably pretty pricey.

It's my GOTY for 2007 as well, and that was a good year! When I got 3D All-Stars, I played through and beat Sunshine because I hadn't played it, and I didn't like it much. So after that I replayed Galaxy, and it still holds up. It was a joy to play again. The music is a big part of that experience.
I think the second game had more memorable songs, and for me, True Heroes sticks out in my mind, it's one of my fave final boss themes. The musical style for these games is very distinct, like you said, which helps to give the games an identity.
Galaxy 3 would be great, but I think it's more likely we'll be getting Odyssey 2, or something like Bowser's Fury (open world). Open world is all the rage, so another Galaxy game would be unlikely.
I remember this game! A mix between Contra and a beat 'em up. Really fun. Did we ever beat it?
Yes, Magmoor Caverns is another great song. What's strange about Dread is the fact that Yamamoto didn't compose the music, but he supervised it apparently. Not sure why they didn't let him do the compositions, probably would have been much better.
It was a good direct. I'm really excited for Mario Strikers: Battle League, the Klonoa collection, Kirby, and Live A Live. The Mario Kart tracks are neat too, I guess we'll see how long Nintendo can ride this MK8 wave. Nintendo Switch Sports is strange, as it's simply Wii Sports again, and that fad is over. But who knows?
Same here, I'm not a fan of FPSs, but Metroid Prime is a game I easily enjoyed and completed. Hopefully we'll get some news on MP4 this year at E3
Yeah, the remixed songs in all the Prime games are great.
I'm so excited! I'm guessing that Splatoon 3's release date will get announced, probably for July. I'm also hoping we see something new, although the big surprises will probably be held for E3
