PS3 - Killzone Trilogy

I got to play 2 and 3 sometime.

Today I traded in a bunch of stuff to Gamestop and put it all towards a preorder of Enemy Front for Xbox 360. Turns out it's only a $40 game so I've just about paid it off already. It's out next Tuesday.

I bought the Trilogy for 3. I bought 2 a month or so ago, but haven't tried it yet. Funny that the only Killzone games I ever played through were on the PSP and Vita. I'm starting over and playing through (hopefully finishing) the original Killzone before tackling Killzone 2.

Trading in a bunch of stuff and paying little out of pocket for a game is always a good thing.

I'm doing more and more of that now. Gotta get the collection down to managable size.

I think I have an 8GB memory card lying around from when I got my 32GB. If you want it let me know. And congrats remember you can play PSP and PS1 games on it. That feature is really cool if you missed some games on those systems.

After I traded in Far Cry: Instincts - Predator for Xbox 360, I saw it on Xbox Live as Far Cry Classic and on sale for $3. I decided I still wanted it and bought it. . . again.

Got GTA IV on a Xbox Live sale for just under $5. Also downloaded the free games, Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition. Kinda hard to take pictures of digital products.

t Got Tearaway today for Vita and will be playing it right away. I had to refamiliarize myself with the Vita last night. It's been a little while. What a fantastic device this is.

A fact I learned from listening to Major Nelson's podcast is that even if you don't have a Xbox One yet, you can still purchase the free games every few weeks on your account, and they'll be there when you get one. So I just got Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.

bbf Picked up Bound By Flame today for Xbox 360. It was $26 but I had a $20 off PowerUpRewards coupon, so it only cost me $6. I was thinking I may finish Enemy Front and Wolfenstein this weekend and could start this, but so far that hasn't been the case. Enemy Front has taken up all my time. Well, Bound By Flame is next on my list to play.

Shovel Knight.  I backed it in kickstarter, so I guess I "bought" it sometime last year.

Various digital downloads on Xbox Live today. First, Valiant Hearts: The Great War ($15), Fable Heroes ($3), and Anarchy Reigns ($5). I almost bit on Lego Lord of the Rings for $7, but I didn't. I want Lego The Hobbit and it's like half off right now, but that's still $30, so I'll wait.

Picked up a physical copy of Uncharted Golden Abyss for the Vita, and some random iOS/Android games.

ah my brother got bound by flame but didn't like it.  Hope u have better luck!  He's a Dark Souls freak, but he's very picky about games.

@Matt Snee: I just played it and didn't like it either. I couldn't get into the rhythm of the fighting. It plays like Dark Souls, but less precise. It seemed just dumb luck to get a counter-attack from a block most of the time.

vg0707Traded in several games to Gamestop and got LEGO: The Hobbit, renewed my PowerupRewards membership, and was given a free LEGO action figure. After the trades I spent about $2. I had a time getting the poncho on the Lego figure, but I finally got it right. Those little figures have a surprising number of moveable parts. I also bought Weapon Shop de Omasse on the 3DS eShop. It's a Level-5 game where you make weapons for explorers who go out on quests. How well you make the items determines how well they do.
