Who ever thought that haircuts would come to the forefront of a video game discussion podcast? I certainly didn't, but I guess there is a first time for everything. This week is all about Capcom which means fan backlash, zombies, and emo-kids are all up for discussion and that's only the first 15 minutes. A great improvement to one of this year's most anticipated fighters.
It took ten years for Capcom to release a sequel to the popular fighter Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 finally released in February of this year, and nine months later, we already have a follow up with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Many gamers and fans were angered, while others were optimistic. While Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was a fun game, it suffered from a lot of fundamental problems regarding balance issues and lack of content, among other, smaller issues. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 served to not only fix those issues, but provide more content to please people that weren't happy with the original. Overall, the main problems were addressed, and while there are still obvious things missing that should have been included in the game, it manages to trump MvC3 in every way.
Also, a Hori-made arcade stick is coming soon.
If you think the recently released Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a glorified DLC pack, then I wonder what you're going to make of the new upcoming DLC costume packs. Capcom has announced that starting next week, alternative costumes will be available for download and will be bundled in various groups. Then, every other week, a new pack will be released. Hori has also announced plans to release an Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 themed fighting stick on December 8, 2011 for $149.99. It'll come with colored buttons or white buttons.

The final two characters for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 were officially revealed by Capcom today. First up is the controversial Rocket Raccoon, who over time has garnered a lot of curiousity among fighting game fans. After this trailer, gamers have reason to be excited...

A new mode that pits players on the stage to save the world by collecting, and then using cards to give extra attributes to their characters.
It's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3's trailer for the New York Comic Con which introduces Nova and Phoenix Wright to the ensemble of playable characters, and also shows some features footage for its PlayStation Vita iteration.
While the game was just announced today, some slick internet readers managed to uncover the remaining characters on Capcom's website.
Earlier today, Capcom revealed that its popular fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 would be receiving a new iteration complete with a set of twelve new characters. Four of those characters were officially revealed: Strider Hiryu and Firebrand from the Capcom side and Ghost Rider and Hawkeye from Marvel. As it turns out, some readers of the Capcom website managed to stumble on the remaining eight characters and grabbed their corresponding character art. To many fans' chagrin, Mega Man is not included in the final roster. The full listing for each side with character art is available below.
The new title will bring a new mode, 12 new fighters, and a rebalanced roster.
