Such was the case this past week when it was announced that Deadpool - The Merc With a Mouth - would be getting his very own video game adventure.

The 2D fighting game, based on the long-running manga by Hirohiko Araki, didn’t see huge sales the first time around, but Capcom is set to bring this most bizarre adventure to a completely new audience.

Two Rockstars have Become One.
Rockstar Games recently announced their decision to merge two of their successful divisions in video game entertainment. The Canadian government supported this decision, so Rockstar will open a new office in Oakville, Ontario that is custom-built. All members of the Vancouver facility will be given the opportunity to join forces with Rockstar Toronto.

During the past few months it feels like nearly every legendary game designer of the ‘80s and ‘90s has come out of the woodwork with a Kickstarter to either create a new game or a remake of one of their classics. One of the more high profile games to get funded was inXile’s Wasteland 2. Wasteland was a game that captured the hearts and minds of many PC gamers in the late ‘80s, but for a vast majority of current players it’s not a known quantity. Namco Bandai finally reveals U.S. And European Release.
Western Tales series fans have a lot to be happy about with this year's releases of Tales of the Abyss 3D and Tales of Graces f. Apparently, these releases were successful enough to warrant the release of the latest main series game, Tales of Xillia.
The Sega Saturn classic will be released in HD this fall.
This past Tuesday Sega posted an image (pictured below) on their Facebook page and Twitter feed that puzzled at least a few folks. However, when the dust settled, the consensus was that it was from the NiGHTS series, sparking immediate speculation. Today, Sega revealed that the mysterious picture was teasing the announcement of an HD port of the original NiGHTS into Dreams to Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC.
