Nintendo fans are no strangers to having localized versions of enticing Japanese fare dangled in front of them, with no real word of when, or even if the title will make its way over seas. The now infamous “Operation Rainfall” trio took quite some time and a heavy fan based push before even an announcement of localization was made - never mind an actual release date.

Crashmo Review

Oh poor Mallo, how gravity befalls the blocks you push and pull…

Pushmo was a wonderful surprise back when it was released in 2011; the Intelligent Systems developed puzzle/platforming game took a simple premise and made it a fantastic in-depth game with a nice custom-builder. Much to my surprise and delight, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems made a sequel! Crashmo, like its predecessor, has Mallo pushing and pulling blocks. However, the effects of gravity now play a bigger part in the game, because now the blocks crash to the ground.

Fire Emblem Awakening Hands On Preview

Don’t sleep on Nintendo’s latest strategy game.

The Nintendo 3DS is getting its fair share of great looking games in 2013. With games like Luigi’s Mansion 2, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon X and Y all coming out this year, there will be plenty for 3DS owners to get their hands on. Sooner than all of those comes the niche, but respected strategy game Fire Emblem: Awakening, the latest in a long series of strategy titles exclusive to Nintendo’s consoles. What I can tell you from my hands-on with the game is that not only is there a great game on the horizon, but it might just be one of the best 3DS games yet.

Amazon US Selling Nintendo Hardware Once Again

For months, it wasn't possible to buy new Nintendo hardware directly from the online retailer.

Up until yesterday, Nintendo and Amazon were in an unspoken and unannounced feud. For months, the online superstore has not stocked or sold Nintendo hardware directly, but today the cold war appears to have ended. Amazon is now offering the Nintendo 3DS XL, a previously unavailable item, directly from their warehouses.

Nintendo 3DS XL Getting Circle Pad Pro Accessory

That's right, it's going to get even bigger.

When Nintendo announced their newer and bigger model of the 3DS, gamers immediately took notice that the system lacked a second circle pad, which was added to the current model via the Circle Pad Pro attachment. Despite the XL lacking a built in second Circle Pad, Nintendo hasn't abandoned support of dual analog control.

Nintendo 3DS XL Announced

Bigger and Better 3DS Model Due this August.

Confirming rumors that were started shortly before their E3 press conference, Nintendo has finally unveiled the Nintendo 3DS XL during last week's Nintendo Direct presentation. This new handheld, that will retail in the U.S. for $199.99, is a bigger and more efficient version of the original Nintendo 3DS, similar to the DSi XL’s improvement over the DSi.
