The next God of War game will act as a prequel to the series. Currently no other details are known, but Sony plans to reveal more about the title on April 30 at 11AM.
A release date has been leaked on a New Zealand reatailer.
God of War IV's release date may have been leaked by New Zealand retailer MightyApe. September 28, 2012 is the date they have listed. Sony has yet to confirm the release date or if the game is even in development.

Good news, everyone! PixlBit has already reviewed both Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta. Both received a rating of 4 stars on the PSP, and if you're a fan of the series, surely the same will hold true here. Sony has lovingly ported these games to the PlayStation 3 with great results. Both games look strikingly good for PSP remasters and both control as you'd expect with the de facto PlayStation controller, as opposed to the often awkward PSP nub.

Sony announced during their E3 press conference today that God of War Origins Collection will be coming to the PlayStation 3 this September. Both games will be remastered in HD and will feature 3D graphics support. No other information about the title was revealed.
