Kirby and the Rainbow Curse Review

This spiritual successor to Kirby: Canvas Curse will give you a better appreciation of Claymation.

Kirby’s morph ball versatility has allowed him to assume the role of a pinball, a golf ball, and a rolling ball controlled by a… rainbow brush. That last one came from 2005’s Kirby: Canvas Curse DS, which used the touch screen to draw lines for guiding Kirby through all sorts of obstacle filled levels. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, the pink puffball’s first Wii U title, follows the same style of gameplay but improves the experience in a number of ways and does it with a fantastic visual style.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Review Rewind

So this is what happens when you cross My Buddy with My Pet Monster. (Old man joke is old.)

When was the last time you smiled while playing a video game? I don’t mean because you were laughing at a funny line of dialogue or because you killed some dumb noob in a multiplayer game. Legasista Review

The menu system is about as tough as saying the name of this game correctly.

When given the opportunity to play a new game by NIS Software, the role playing game player has to jump at the opportunity. With such inventive, intellectual properties in the genre, it would be difficult to see a lackluster effort coming from the creators of the Disgaea series. But, I'm sorry to say, Legasista happens to lack lust. Compared to the flagship franchises from NIS, it has a poorly paced storyline and a dearth of new gameplay ideas.

Might & Magic Heroes VI Review

An epic game with epic bugs

The creation of the sixth installment of the Heroes of Might & Magic series sent the small turn-based RPG gamer niche through various emotional highs and lows. The two biggest sources of concern was the renaming of the brand to Might & Magic Heroes (which made many think back to the failed 3DO series), plus the “dumbing down” of the unit tiers from the almost double digit tiers to just three. It seemed that the things that made it great would be forsaken in pursuit of the lucrative mainstream market.
