PB & Jason Issue 99: PAX & Chris

PixlBit contributor Chris Mabrey joins Jason to talk about his experience at PAX Prime, 2012.

Join Jason and Chris as they discuss the games and shows at PAX prime. Those of you who listen in can expect Epic Mickey 2 impressions, and quite a bit of hands-on Wii U talk, as well. Listening deeper into the show will provide a bit of a breakdown on the indie titles available to play at PAX. Those curious about the indie title of which Chris could not recall the name should know the game is called "AntiChamber." After the talk about the games on the expo's floor, Chris mentions his experiences with the shows and panels at PAX. As a bonus for my loyal listeners, the beginning of the podcast includes new information about that albino GameCube controller featured last week! Click through for the download and streaming links!

PB & Jason Issue 98: Elusive Albino Controllers

I very much want one of those white GameCube controllers, and I'm not completely sure why!

This week's PB & Jason deals with stores. Online stores specifically. Online stores and odd things with box arts, pricings, and, of course, the white GameCube controller I've recently discovered. Beyond that, there's mention of the upcoming PAX Prime, coming next weekend. PlayStation Vita firmware updates abound, as well. Now you can play PlayStation titles on your PSV! Oh, that's if it's on a specific list of nine games or you have a PlayStation 3 to send over some games. Also, the ability comes at the cost of one PSN account per PSV memory card. Wuh oh. Click through for the download and streaming links!

PB & Jason Issue 97: The Amazon Horned Frog Does Not Sell the 3DS XL

There's a Nintendrought in the Amazon.

Want to purchase a 3DS XL directly from Amazon? That's not going to happen. Maybe Amazon can fulfill the purchase from another website, but it just isn't the same. What's going on? There are a few rumors, and you'll have to listen to PB & Jason #97 to find out! By listening, you'll also learn about the pre-E3 "Judges Week" all those video game media outlets aren't talking about! Don't forget some impressions of the Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage title I'm currently playing. All this and more are found in PB & Jason #97! Click through for the download and streaming links.

PB & Jason Issue 95: Judgment Day

Please do not file any class-action lawsuits against PB & Jason.

PB & Jason Issue 94: The Konion?

Did some other video games media site merge with The Onion, or did I miss something?

You've probably already heard the rumor about Final Fantasy Versus XIII's cancellation. You've probably even heard the news about the rumor being false. I've another rumor: A major videogame media outlet has taken my idea about reporting fake video game news! Oh, and they forgot to outright tell people it was fake. Anyway, in this week's PB & Jason, we talk about the Final Fantasy Versus XIII debacle, the Borderlands formula, and we learn of a possible reason why EA's former COO is "Former" and not "Current."  Want to listen to PB & Jason? PB & Jason Issue 93: The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses

Nick, Chessa, and Jason attended the Orlando, FL concert this past Saturday.

It shouldn't be very difficult to guess the main subject of today's PB & Jason. I'll give you three hints: There was cosplay, I said the name of this topic in the title of Issue 93, and the beginnings of this event were announced during Nintendo's E3 2011 press conference. Give up? Ok, ok. This issue of PB & Jason is based mostly on the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert! Spoiler alert: It's good. Of course, there's a little bit of other information about things like the sales numbers of the PlayStation Vita in Japan, but you'll have to give this issue of PB & Jason a listen to hear all of them by clicking through to the embedded player and download links.

PB & Jason Issue 92: Vidalia Edition

Hopefully this week's PB & Jason does not make you tear up...

This week, the news on Jason's radar has been pretty weak. There has been some conversation about a small handful of major topics, but just about everyone has discussed and editorialized said topics to death. The alternative? When there is no news worth talking about, why not create fake news to share? Join Jason as he rambles off several fake headlines. Maybe you'll have a laugh, maybe you'll shed a tear. Maybe you'll make up a few fake stories of your own. Who cares? Whatever you do, be sure to listen to PB & Jason by clicking through to the embedded player and download links.
