Of all the PB & Jasons, I believe this one to be the third strongest.

Earthbound is on the way to the Virtual Console! I thought it would never happen. Other good news from today's Nintendo Direct includes a new Zelda title, a new Yoshi's Island game, and some release dates. However, all of this information is sombered by a shocking realization: With the exception of SiNG Party and debatably Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition, Nintendo hasn't released a single console game that was announced after E3 2011. Mystifying! Oh, and the podcast actually starts up with some talk about EA's latest "de"-ward followed by the continuing Amazon/Nintendo mystery. Click through to listen!

Bad press, resigns, stock dro-o-ops, it's a nightmare!

They failed SimCity, caused gamers mis'ry! EA Fails! Woo ooh! Every day they're out not making game sales! Woo ooh! Sales not faring, do-bad, and they suck-sales!

EA has made quite a few headlines this past week, but none of them are all that positive.

That's right, EA gets a lot of attention in this week's PB & Jason. Why? Well, for starters, SimCity has always-on DRM that's preventing a lot of people from playing the game. Beyond that, rumors of an unsuccessful Dead Space 3 & the cancellation of a Dead Space 4 has drawn ire, whether these rumors are true or not! On top of all this, we've got a couple user blogs focused, some discussion on in-game promotions of some video game media outlets, a special mention of Epic Mickey for some of my favorite listeners, Japanese eShop rules, and a lot of talk about the upcoming Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate community event. Everyone's favorite Arian Ninja Returns.

As a fan of anime, I’ve played more than my fair share of iterative fighting games based off of my favorites, particularly the Dragon Ball Series. A common issue with those games is that they would often retell the same stories over and over, hoping that the changes in gameplay would warrant re-exploring the universe. Thankfully, the Naruto games haven’t suffered as much as the DBZ series since the story is still currently running. Though the games have largely been similar, the draw for me has been seeing my favorite moments from the anime and manga recreated in the beautiful engine used by CyberConnect2. Strangely though, upon getting my hands on the demo for the next title, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, I was pleased to see that there might be more than I bargained for in this package.
