Revelations 3DS Demo Has Play Limit

Think you can play that demo as many times as you want? Think again.

Today Nintendo gave fans a taste of Resident Evil: Revelations via the first downloadable demo in the 3DS’ short lifespan.  The first of multiple demos that also include ones for Rayman Origins and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, this will be the first time that many gamers are treated to what a portable Resident Evil will offer in 3D.  But like all good things, this demo won’t last forever and is far more limited than you may expect.

Choplifter HD Review

This is one series that may have been better off in the past. Click through to see our first video review!

Choplifter HD is nothing if not true to its name; the game is essentially a dolled up version of 1982’s Choplifter, offering few innovations besides the modest graphical paint job. It’s a return to the 80’s – in the same sense of a Corey Feldman movie marathon – it’s shallow, devoid of humor, and awkward. Hardcore fans of the series might be pleased to see such a devout remake, but newcomers will be less than satisfied with the outdated mechanics.

Gamefly didn't have any service for PC gamers and this seemed to be a way to change that. Then in August, Gamefly announced a PC client to be released at a later time.

Scene It? Movie Night Review

While fun with friends, this addition to the Scene It? franchise lacks the substance to make a lasting impression.

Scene It? has been around for a while now and there have been more than a few video game adaptations of the popular DVD/film based trivia game.  Now the game based on the premise of useless cinematic know-how has wound up on the PSN and XBLA as a downloadable game. The move to a digital format makes perfect sense for this type of game, but this stripped down version fails to capture the more fleshed out experience we've come to expect from the franchise.

Remaining 3DS Ambassador Games Still Coming This Year

Nintendo confirms that the remaining 10 GBA titles promised to gamers will be available before year's end.

Back when Nintendo shocked the gaming community by slashing the price of the 3DS from $250 to $170 they announced an initiative called the Ambassador Program to compensate/reward early adopters who had shelled out the higher price when the handheld was released just a short time prior.  The program would give members 10 classic titles each from the NES and GBA libraries.  The NES classics were delivered with the promise that the GBA titles would be delivered before the year ended.  But with December now here and no further news, rumors have suggested that perhaps the titles will slip to 2012 if they ever make it out at all.
