Nerds Without Pants Special: The List Part 5

We made it!

Oh hey, we finally got to the end of the Nerds Without Pants reading a list of every PlayStation game. In hindsight...this was a poor decision. But you guys seem to dig it, so much so that we'll be releasing a supercut of all five parts in a single episode later on. But we should really never do this again.

Nerds Without Pants Special: The List Part 4

Better late than never...

Nerds Without Pants is still on hiatus, but in the meantime, perhaps you would enjoy part 4 of us going through all the North American (ish) PlayStation 1 releases? Yeah, it's super late. We recorded this way back in July and I think I edited this around October, so I'm not even sure what's in this one. Executive dysfunction sucks.

Nerds Without Pants Special: The List Part 3

You can hear Justin start to fade in this one...

Nerds Without Pants is back with part three of this weird PlayStation list thingy that we did. At this point it’s starting to feel like a mistake, but people seem to enjoy it, so who are we to judge? We are our harshest critics, after all. There’s still a couple more hours left of this crap, so…yay?

Nerds Without Pants Special: The List Part 2

Damn, we barely made it to D.

Welcome to part two of this dumb PlayStation list…thing that we did! This is only the second hour, so we’re still pretty fresh, but rest assured, we slowly descend into exhaustion and madness as the night wears on.

Runbow Review

Multiplayer mayhem.

Runbow originally made a splash when it was debuted as a Nindie alongside a small number of other indie games making an exclusive first appearance on the Wii U. Given the fairly thin Wii U library, it quickly became a darling of the Nintendo enthusiast community and its popularity propelled it to other platforms. Coming full circle, Runbow is now available on Switch and its frantic 9 player multiplayer is back in full force. While it’s short an exclusive mode featured there, it offers all the same content as before, just on-the-go, with no compromises like the New 3DS version of the game. As a multiplayer experience, Runbow is chaotic fun, not unlike Smash Bros, but as a single player it’s not quite as entertaining.

Titanfall 2 Review

Remember the Titanfall

The original Titanfall had such an amazing idea: Soldiers who can run on walls with jetpacks summon giant mech suits known as Titans. Normally I  play a few matches of multiplayer before getting bored and back to the single player, but I took a gamble in Titanfall’s multiplayer only offering. And despite being too light on content, there was enough depth to keep my 200th match in Titanfall as fun as my second.

Ridge Racer Revolution Review Rewind

Over the Highway

I’ve always enjoyed the early Ridge Racer series. I fondly remember playing the original game over a friend’s house, wishing that I had a PlayStation of my own to play it on. It was very accessible and didn’t take a tremendous effort to make it past the learning curve. And not much has changed here in Ridge Racer Revolution. On the surface, it plays much like its predecessor. It even starts off with a Galaga ‘88 mini-game similar to the Galaxian one in previous game. Some regard Revolution as “Ridge Racer 1.5” due its similarities to the original, which is somewhat understandable since this game went for full price upon its initial release. Even so, Ridge Racer Revolution received a few nice tweaks that made it a decent step up from its predecessor.
