The second half of Episode 25 starts off a little off-topic, but soon enough, the discussion meanders to games PixlBit staff would enjoy seeing on the 3DS or in 3D. While the most notable franchise, Ice Climber, only gets a brief mention toward the end, several different franchises and individual games are given shout-outs and receive speculation.

Hard Corps: Uprising Review

Either shooters have gotten harder or I have gotten worse; my ego is going to go with the former.

Let’s get this out of the way: Hard Corps: Uprising by Arc System Works is hard -- unapologetically hard. All I could think every time I died was that they should have called it Impossible Corps, which made me think of that awful “This is not mission difficult” quote from Mission Impossible II which only made me angrier. To keep the story short, Arc owes me a new controller. Anyways...

MindJack Review

Freejack would have made a better video game.

I was very intrigued when I first read about Mindjack and jumped at a chance to review it. A sci-fi third person shooter where your main character has the ability to “hack” into anything that has a mind or computer, as well as the ability to jump into anybody else’s game seamlessly and either help or hinder them sounded like something that could be an amazing experience if executed correctly. It’s those ifs that always get you, though. Mindjack, while having a unique and intriguing premise, fails completely in its execution.
