Hey all. Little ice breaker: I heard about this site from a friend who used to frequent a website a few of you might be acquainted with- 1up.com. Y’see, I’ve been thinking of starting a video game blog for a while now, and thought 1up would be the best site to start my foray into the blogging world, since the community is/was apparently awesome. Alas, the aforementioned website is ?deceased? (or almost, anyways)... and thus I heard the refugees/castaways/survivors had migrated here.

And thus. With that bit of history out of the way, brings me to my intro.

Gaming background: I’ve been playing games since just about forever.... back in the SNES days, anyways. Not quite old enough to remember the early NES days or Atari and the like, but SNES and beyond, yes, definitely. Genre, you ask? Mainly RPG’s. Preferably Japanese origin. Couple of visual novels, puzzle games, SRPG’s, simulations, action games, fighters thrown in here and there.

Other (geeky) junk I like:
-Anime
-Fantasy novels (just finished Dance with Dragons (Game of Thrones series), currently reading The Black Prism (by Brent Weeks)).
- Jpop, Kpop

What to expect from my blogs: Game reviews. Anime recommendations. Frequent status updates. Breaking news/stuff I find interesting. Whatever strikes my fancy... I mean. Scratch that last one.

Current status update: This’ll come with pretty much every blog. (probably). Just a list of games I just finished/am playing/will be playing soon.
