Celebrity Run-In: Brian O'Halloran Likes Guild Wars, Call of Duty

The "Clerks" star finds himself playing Guild Wars and Call of Duty on PC in between his film and theater work.

Lauren and I got to chat with "Clerks" star Brian O'Halloran at GameX.

While most of it wasn't game related as he talked about his recent movies and I made some comment about how I totally met him three years ago at a "Clerks" screening in Red Bank, N.J., we did find out what games he's been playing.

O'Halloran actually would help build PCs for friends of his and is a devout computer gamer. He plays a lot of Guild Wars because he doesn't like the idea of paying a monthly fee to play a game he already bought. The star of recent horror mockumentary "Brutal Massacre" is also a big first-person shooter fan, but only on the PC. Still, he also owns a Wii and a PlayStation 3.

Sadly, he has nothing to do with Dante's Inferno, but he is supposed to be here today.

Also, I unfortunately did not get to shoot the game-winning picture, which would've featured O'Halloran standing in front of EA's Dante's Inferno booth.

O'Halloran also works with the New Jersey Repertory Company and recently did a few days for James L. Brooks' latest movie (tentatively titled "How Do You Know?") and is waiting for the New York Yankees season to conclude so a film he is producing based on the life of a baseball batboy can begin filming.

OH! It's Dante! You should have a picture of Dante on this page.

"I'm not even supposed to BE HERE today!"

Lauren and I got a picture with him before we came up with the idea of having him stand in front of the Dante's Inferno booth. :(

That picture should be up tonight or tomorrow.
