Oswald the Rabbit and The Phantom Blot seek to destroy the retro-styled Mickey Mouse and his cartoon world.
While Game Informer has the anticipated and highly publicized Epic Mickey content, EuroGamer has a source that spilled some choice details about Junction Point's upcoming Wii exclusive.
Epic Mickey sees the famed mouse, who will be sporting a newly designed retro look, dealing with a nefarious plot orchestrated by Walt Disney's first creation, Oswald the Rabbit. Oswald is jealous of all the success that Mickey has found and wants to wipe his world out. He does that with some help from The Phantom Blot, a villain who dates back to Mickey's daily comic strip days.
During the game, Mickey must repair the world around him by using different drawing tools such as pencils and erasers that are used with the Wii Remote. The gameplay will be based around different puzzles that require you to use the tools in inventive ways.
The world will feature all sorts of Disney references, most likely dating back to neglected characters from the old days.
