Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES) Pulled From Virtual Console

An expired license is said to be the culprit.

The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the Nintendo Entertainment System used to be available on the Wii Virtual Console. Unfortunately, due to an "expired license", that's no longer the case as the title has been removed from the service.

This is the same reason given for the removal of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtles in Time Re-Shelled on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
