Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time Goes Gold

The upcoming PS3 title is officially complete and set for an October 23 release date.

Earlier this week Insomniac Games community relations manager James Stevenson posted that Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time has officially gone gold. This news means that the game is officially complete and has been shipped off for manufacturing within North America.

Stevenson recalls that the development of Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time has been "an incredible experience" and that " there has been a ton of effort and love put into [the] game ."

According to the blog post there will be "much new content hitting over the next couple of weeks" including a video to be featured on G4's XPlay which will debut footage of the time travel levels for the very first time. If waiting is too much for any of you Ratchet and Clank fans, Stevenson also mentions an exclusive video that Insomniac games put together for Game Informer magazine which can be viewed on their site.

Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, by Insomniac Games, is set to release on October 27 exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

Having just picked up a PS3 (and the previous game in this series), I am very excited for this game.
