Sony Announces New PSP Deals

The company is attempting to sweeten the deal when purchasing a PSP.

Recently, Sony announced many new deals and incentives for current PSP owners and potential new PSPgo owners.

The first of the deals includes a new Favorites software lineup, in which each featured title sells for $9.99. Initially the Favorites lineup will include the following: Ape Escape: On the Loose, Buzz! Master Quiz, Hot Shots Golf Open Tee, Patapon 2, PixelJunk Monster Deluxe, SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo, and Twisted Metal: Head On.

Sony is also working with various third parties to include third party titles to the line-up. Initially, Justice League Heroes, Manhunt 2, Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play, Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection, Silent Hill Origins, Sims 2, and The Warriors will join the lineup.

Aside from the Favorites, Sony has announced four new Greatest Hits titles for the PSP, which include Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance: Retribution, and Secret Agent Clank. All four titles are now only $19.99

Finally, there is a new incentive for purchasing a PSPgo. If you purchase the portable from June 1, 2010 to March 31,2011 you will receive an email for a PSN voucher to download the Digital Game Pack, which includes LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, and SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3.
