SNK Details Xbox Live Arcade Plans for Japan

Currently four titles are planned for release.

Recently, SNK Playmore set out a reminder announcement that they will release four titles for Xbox Live Arcade during 2010 in Japan. SNK's upcoming games consists of both arcade titles and ports.

According to Andriasang, the four new games are, KOF Sky Stage, Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, and King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match.

KOF Sky Stage is a vertical shoot'em up that contains fighting elements, and features popular character from The King of Fighters series. KOF Sky Stage will be released in Spring 2010.

The second release, Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, is a tag-team fighting game that features characters from various SNK titles, originally released for arcades and PlayStation 2. The XBLA version of Neo Geo Battle Coliseum will feature re-mastered high definition graphics and will release during Spring 2010.

Metal Slug XX is the third XBLA release, and the latest entry in the Metal Slug series. The game features four characters from the Metal Slug series and two from The King of Fighters series, along with seven different stages. While Metal Slug XX will see a PSP release soon in Japan, the Xbox Live Arcade version will be released in Spring 2010.

The final title is The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match, which is a re-balanced version of The King of Fighters 2002. In addition to balance fixes, the game will also feature new abilities, upgraded graphics and audio. The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match will be released in Summer 2010.

SNK Playmore has not announced any release information about these titles in North America.
