That light of hope over the world thing is pretty cool. Cheesy as hell, but I'd like for it to happen.

Aquaman was a zombie? Huh. I actually do have a friend who LOVES Aquaman and reads his comics. A female friend no less. I'm looking forward to seeing if the upcoming movie makes him more or less of a joke.

Superman being not as powerful sounds like a more interesting Superman. That newspaper thing is really cool. I love little additions like that. Are they going for a retro thing with Supes' look and stuff like that?

I have only watched the first part of episode 1 of Daredevil, but I have been meaning to get to it. Sad thing is I have already finished season 3 of Orange is the New Black. I've always been interested in The Punisher though. Too bad I've heard his movies aren't so great, but to be honest I kind of liked the look of the 80s one. Maybe not so much the cliched content, but still.

I have always related to the judged-based-on-looks aspect of Frankenstein. Or at least understood it. We're all too shallow in some way. Definitely catch myself at it sometimes as much as people do it to me.

I never knew about floppies and trades and such on the few occasions I bought comics as a kid. But all I buy now is super expensive graphic novels, so what do I know?

I also like when comics and such relate to media at the time. It dates them a bit if they're too specific, but there can also be very good general stories. My favorite drink is usually a dark stout or something fruity. I ordered both in the same sitting at a bar once and the bartender thought I was drunk already because I must not have known how different the things I was ordering were.

That last comic looked awesome. I was born in 1990, but that Satanic cult scare was always interesting to me. I love heavy metal and find it funny Dungeons and Dragons somehow got into that discussion.

Forgot about that Fight Club comic. Well, happy 41st episode! Go Dirk (I'm a big Dallas Mavs fan).

I think I'm going to pull the trigger and by some Aquaman trades written by Geoff Johns as I really enjoyed Aquaman #41 written by Colin Bunn.

If you get a chance finish watching daredevil on Netflix!! My gf just showed me an episode of Orange is the the New Black and it looks pretty cool-- I def laughed a lot.. I may start watching more of it soon.

Both Superman and Batman have some interesting things going on . I suggest you check them out if you haven't already.

Comics or TV shows that weave into their stories current events or social issues are the best because they are though provoking and they get people talking about the issues with the potential to change someone's paradigm or belief system. This is why I always enjoyed Star Trek! It's sad to know Leonard Nimoy aka Spock has made has begun his journey into parts unknown!!

So are you thinking of picking up any floppies!! It's always great to have something in the middle of the week to look forward to!! For me new comic release Wednesday is a vital part of my self-care and a gift to myself to help me destress from the rigors of the work week!  I just have to be disciplined and not go over budget with the buys.

Thanks as always for watching brother!! I know you recently got your degree and hope you've scored a good job. !!!
