What's up Pixlbit? Just wanted to make a quick post about Pinball Arcade. So I went to my local GameStop and looked around for a new game for my PS4. As I was looking, I stumbled upon a game called Pinball Arcade. I had no clue there was a physical copy of the game. I just remembered downloading it through PSN for my Vita. At the time, I didn't get into it that much. I played a few tables here and there, but it didn't amuse me.

Once I looked at the game and picked it up, one of my friends who works in the store asked me if I remembered a pinball game called 3D Pinball Space Cadet. I had no clue what it was until he mentioned it was pre loaded into the windows computers back in the late 90's. All of a sudden I had a surge of memories of that game. I remember playing that game on my computer all the time. Especially when I wanted to take breaks in between my homework assignments. I loved playing that pinball game so much as a kid.

So, when he mentioned that to me, I figured I'd download the free version again and see if I get into it this time. I don't know what came over me, but I found myself playing the free version for a couple of hours. In the free version, you get one table for free but the others you have to pay for. There's a section where you can play the trial version of each table, but there's a score limit. Once you surpass that limit, the trial ends. So I just stuck with the free table. I kept playing it and playing it and immediately got myself hooked.

So, yesterday I decided to pick it up. The physical copy of the game comes with 22 tables. Apparently there's seasons in the game and the 22 tables that come with the game are the season 1 tables. I highly recommend picking up this game. I'm not sure if you can find a new copy at a GameStop (depends on where you live). All I can find were pre owned copies. I'm assuming the game came with the launch PS4's and people just traded them in.

Anyways, if you've been a fan of pinball tables since you were a kid or just want a game for a quick sit down and play with your friends or loved ones, I would pick up this game. I actually can't wait to see if my girlfriend would pick up the controller with me and see if she would like this game as well.

Well, that's all for now. Sorry if this quick post is too long. Hope you all have a great weekend!

BEYOND!

I downloaded this recently and have been playing it a ton! Even though I never got a version on the ol' PS3 or 360, I did have the Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection on 360. My family plays all of them pretty frequently; it's a great time.

I will try to remember to add you on PSN so we can compare scores (although some of "my" scores might be my wife or son's).

Yeah I would think it would be fun with other people. Not unless there's that one person who's really good at pinball and can outscore everyone with just one ball haha. I actually need to get a second controller for my PS4 for my girlfriend. My PSN is MrUniverse_

Well, with the pinball at least, you just pass the controller.

Haha, a mistake I would make for sure.

I didn't know there was a physical copy of PInball Arcade.  I wonder what other systems it would be available for?
