Remedy Has Plans for Alan Wake

A super special edition of the PC version and American Nightmare is just the beginning.

Alan Wake had a rather lengthy development cycle, and at one point, Remedy’s third person horror game was intended for PC. The game was then slated to go multiplatform before becoming an Xbox 360 exclusive that had the bad luck of launching the same day as Red Dead Redemption. Now, as Remedy puts the finishing touches on the XBLA release of Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, the original game is finally ready for its PC debut. Remedy hasn’t forgotten their PC roots, and intends to make the Alan Wake release something special.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare Will Be More Action Packed

Remedy talks about the XBLA game, and announces the first game for PC.

Revealed at the Spike TV VGAs, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare looks to be more of the cerebral horror game that the first one was. Or is it?

Alan Wake Review

Remedy's latest title fails to impress, but still manages some good ideas.

After seven years, Remedy has finally resurfaced with their newest release, Alan Wake, a title which has been in development equally as long. The third person shooter has elements that manage to bring back memories of their previous title, Max Payne. While there’s no bullet-time shooting or film noir storyline this time around, it does keep the fun shooting mechanics that made their previous effort an instant classic.
