The man behind Spidey will be playable in some form.
During an interview with Addict of Fiction at the London Super Comic Convention, Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee revealed that he will be playable in the upcoming Spider-Man movie tie-in game, The Amazing Spider-Man.
The movie tie-in game will show its first trailer at the VGAs.
Activision is publishing a tie-in game for the upcoming movie The Amazing Spider-Man. Both will be released in summer 2012 and the game is being developed by Beenox, the developer behind this year's Edge of Time. It also has an original narrative by Seamus Kevin Fahey. The game will serve as an epilogue to the movie, following events that happened after the movie.
Four Spider-Men are better than one.
It seems that each and every year a new Spider-Man game is released, and every year that Spider-Man game seems to be a disappointment. My last exposure to a Spider-Man game was Spider-Man 2, which featured open-world exploration and tasks. The game controlled well and was moderately enjoyable, but the structure was a bit too loose, causing the game to eventually become tedious and boring. Shattered Dimensions, the latest Spider-Man game, is quite the opposite. For the first time ever, the essence of Spider-Man has truly been captured through the game's characters, levels, presentation, and solid gameplay.
