PixlTalk Episode 1: Introductions and Stuff

Listen to the staff of PixlBit talk about who they are, what their deal is, and what games they like.

On the first episode of PixlTalk, we delve into the origins of ourselves. We also talk about our favorite games and a little bit of what we've been playing. Neal gets Wet (gross!), Lauren is playing Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, Nick is typing in Scribblenauts, and Chessa goes import friendly with Another Code R.

Strangely enough, our two couples (Neal and Lauren; Nick and Chessa) both met in similar fashions, although one met at a McDonalds and the other met in college.

Hope you enjoy the inaugural episode, and leave us any feedback.

We'll be up in iTunes soon.

Nice podcast and a nice start! I'm sure it will continue to get better with time! (and when Audacity doesn't crash...)

Next episode should be awesome. We recorded a special segment with a guest that may or may not get its own separate release.

I listed to the podcast today and enjoyed it. At this point in your site's life its strongest assets are your personalities. They really shine in a podcast. Cheers!

I do have one bit of constructive criticism for Neal. You seem to have the same problem I have where when you get nervous or you're not sure what to say you ramble a bit. This is especially apparent during your hosting duties at the beginning and end of the episode. (Yes, I know your site's called PixlBit. You don't need to remind me 5 times.) During the "meat" of the podcast when it turned conversationalist this wasn't a problem. I'd recommend either planning out exactly what you want to say or cutting out the extraneous chatter in post-production. I it's only your third time hosting so I'm sure you'll get better at it with practice.
