PB & Jason

PB & Jason Issue 8: It's PB & Jason!

Today, everyone gets to hear me talk about last week's PlayBit! More specifically, there's a fair amount of talk about Kururururururin Squash. Krruruurururuurin. Kurururururin. Kururin Squash. Yeah, Kururururuururin. Whatever. That game where you move around as a spinning stick. Also, there's a bit of blabbing about the actuality of Superman 64.

I follow that up with listener mail from Kathrine Theidy, mail about bad games and reviewers!

This issue ends with some talk about the 3DS and PSP2 rumors, with a hint of more to come in later issues.

Sorry folks, I set Issue #8 to load #7 on accident. The mistake has been fixed now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm not sure if it is actually titled Superman 64. If you look at the box, there is no title, just a picture of Superman opening his shirt to reveal the famous S. On the back though, it says "Superman: The New Superman Adventures." So that might be the title? Or is the title simply "S"? Also, it was released in May 1999, not 1998.

Wii Music is like Donkey Konga too. It's got the freakin' happy birthday song.

The Virtual Boy was created by Gunpei Yokoi, who also created the Game Boy, a massive success for Nintendo. I think Yokoi put his reputation on the line for it, and Nintendo was likely skeptical but decided to go ahead with his vision anyway. I'm sure there's a story there somewhere.

Is iTunes slow on your updates? There are only 5 episodes there.

Yeah, Nick has to manually post them. Last I spoke to him, he was working on it. I'll double check. I'd try to stick to the site for now, but as far as I'm aware, he's working on a better way to get new podcasts issues/episodes up.
