Looks like there's no focus on the classic stages here. I suppose it might be all mini-games. Hopefully that isn't the case, and there's a set of stages that rival the original Super Monkey Ball ones.
If it does indeed include the classic SMB stages, then I'm hoping that the accelerometer/gyro control will be optional.
I've checked, and it does. There's not really enough info out there to make another post about it, but it comes with classic-styled SMB stages, which can be raced on. Sega says you can choose to play with the DS pad or the tilt controls. Seems like it's a title anyone could keep anyone's hands full!
Awesome. I wasn't a fan of the tilt only controls for the Wii iterations of this series, so this is nice.
