Nerds Without Pants Spoils The Outer Worlds

Ain't no party like a Parvati party!

Welcome to a special edition of Nerds Without Pants! Justin and Julian loved The Outer Worlds so much that they had to devote an entire episode to it! Yeah...there's not really much more to say about it than that!

We start off with talking about our expectations of the game, and go into detail on the characters we created. Then we do a broad walkthrough of the game, which is pretty great considering neither of us took any notes. Ok, yeah, we get some stuff wrong, but the point is, we played the game in very different ways and it was fun comparing notes. We hope you enjoy it!

Really enjoying the spoiler cast sp far. Didnt even come close to finishing yet but I'm interested in what you both have to say. Got to say that Rule 34 doesnt care about whether or not someone's into anything...

Oh, I know. It still makes me laugh though.

Blaster Master Review Rewind

My earliest years in gaming was a magical time. Every new game I discovered pioneered a fresh mechanic I hadn’t seen before. I'll never forget the moment when my brother's best friend came over with his NES games to show off Blaster Master. I marveled as the story elements unfolded while melancholic music played in the attract mode. Pressing the start button then transitioned me to the opening shot of an armored vehicle speeding off while the triumphant music swelled to a crescendo as I journeyed into the unknown. Never had I witnessed anything like that at the time. While everything I just described is nothing spectacular these days, Blaster Master still has a few gameplay elements that still hold up quite nicely.
