PB & Jason Issue 68: Best Issue Ever.

It may be issue #68 in number, but it became issue #1 in our hearts.

I could sit here and type out the things I talk about in this week's PB & Jason. I could tell you I go over my thoughts and opinions about the PixlBit Games of the Year. And yes, I could talk about how I mention the NXE and the PS3 lawsuit, or tell you another gift idea for the holidays.

I could do all of that, but that would be boring. Instead, just listen to PB & Jason #68. I know it's what you want. At least, it's what I want. So be nice, and give it a try. Just like #67, and #66 before that, this week's issue is, of course, the best issue ever.

Funny thing about the Gamestop tangent:

I went to Gamestop yesterday to spend down some store credit I still have. I plan on ditching them in a few days when my rewards card expires. Got myself a copy of "The World Ends with You."

Dude, these people were ignorant. Seriously.

They had no clue about Xenoblade at all. There's no in store advertising either. Don't you think if Gamestop is invested in this they'd be shouting it from the rooftops?

They watched the VGA's as well, but had NO CLUE who Miyamoto was. None. I was like... Mario? Zelda? any of that ring a bell?

To be fair, the game is coming out in April, so they've got some time to figure out what XenoBlade is, but unfortunately, that's the reality. GameSpot hires people who they think can sell games, and it's working for them. I'm just not someone happy about it, though the general public doesn't seem to mind.

I'm not exactly happy about it either:

Similar in thoughts to you, I used to shop at Rhino video games pretty frequently. It was low-pressure sales, and the store was possible. They hired people who knew about games, and often, I'd walk out with something I really hadn't considered very much. Eventually, they got bought out by GameStop, and most of the employees left and/or got fired because they didn't work well with the way GS operated, though they sold plenty of games that were already released. It's too bad, but I guess that's how it goes.
