Reverb Games is giving Facebook fans a chance to win a copy of the game before it's released exclusively on the PlayStation Network on October 18.
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is set to make its PSN exclusive debut in the coming weeks, but Reverb Games is giving gamers the chance to win a copy of the downloadable chicken shooter before it is even released.
Starting tomorrow, Ratloop Asia will randomly select fans of the Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken Facebook page to receive a special code for the game that will make it available an entire week before the game launches on October 18.
Entering the contest is simple – just become of a fan of the Rocketbirds Facebook page and enter your contact information for a chance to be selected to receive a code. Winners will be selected every day until the game launches.
Hardboiled Chicken follows the titular character on his mission to assassinate the evil penguin leader Putzki who has taken over the land of Albatropolis. Along the way he’ll unlock secrets to his past and discover just who can and cannot be trusted.
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is part of Sony’s “Only on PSN” program and will be released on October 18 in North America and October 19 in Europe.

Set in Albatropolis, a land full of birds taken over by a totalitarian penguin regime, Hardboiled Chicken, the original Coq of War, must assassinate the evil penguin leader Putzki. His mission will unlock the secrets to his mysterious, hard-boiled past and uncover the real enemies of Albatropolis through a variety of artistic cut scenes and perfectly orchestrated music videos. In single-player mode, take on the role of Hardboiled Chicken and destroy your enemies with a slew of weapons you collect and unlock in each chapter. Master fowl play in the co-op campaign as a pair of Budgie commandos on a mission to save the general’s daughter. Many lives will be destroyed, countless penguins will die, and an astonishing past will be unveiled through a series of unlockable cut scenes and videos.
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB. Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken will launch excluisvely on PlayStation Network in North America October 18th and in Europe October 19th.
