Arc System Works Announces Xblaze
The new adventure title is planned to be the first in a series.
Developer Arc System Works is best known for their fighting games, specifically the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series; however, they will be trying something different with their latest body of work. The company has announced that they've started production on an adventure title, Xblaze, which will be the first in an "adventure project" series.
A slide presentation at an official BlazBlue Continumm Shift II tournament seems to indicate that the game will tie in to the BlazBlue story in some way. BlazBlue producer Toshimichi Mori stated the second entry in this series is already in the works. The title is projected to release this winter, but no platform has been specified as of yet.
