Square Enix Creating Guin Saga Game

The title will be released on cell phones in Japan and will be based on the upcoming anime.

Guin Saga is a long-running manga in Japan that had its first edition back in 1979. With the thirty year anniversary of the series coming up, it's receiving an anime makeover in Japan.

Based on the anime, Square Enix is making a cell phone game, in the vein of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, titled Guin Saga Mobile.

The game puts players in control of the leopard-headed, Guin. With Guin players will solve puzzles, explore, and turn-based battle.

According to andriasang, like The After Years, the game is split into chapters, each of which will cost ¥525. Also like The After Years, the first chapter will be offered for free.
