More Persona 3 PSP Details Released Including Possible Spoiler

A recently released trailer along with a brand new magazine scan give new insights into the portable version of Persona 3.

As the Japanese release date for Persona 3 PSP approaches, new details about the game have been surfacing.

First, a second trailer was recently released for the game, and its footage shows off battling, moving through Tartarus, character interaction, and much more. Battling seems to be exactly the same, with a few exceptions. We have already known for a while now that certain aspects from Persona 4 would be included in Persona 3 PSP, namely allowing the player to have full control of all their team's actions in battle. However, a new concept brought over from Persona 4 is revealed in the trailer: enduring a hit for your teammate.

Within this new trailer players can also catch a glimpse of the cinematic depicting the unlocking of the female protagonists Persona, what appears to be a female version of Orpheus.

This next bit of information was discovered just today from a Famitsu article, and contains a spoiler regarding an addition to the Persona 3 story that was not present before.

According to the magazine scan, if players select the female protagonist's quest, they will have the option of stopping by Inaba, the town in which all the events of Persona 4 took place. Apparently, players will be stopping by the Amagiya Inn, the Inn that is owned by the parents of Persona 4 character Yukiko. Not only will players simply get to stop there, but they will also encounter a younger version of Yukiko.

The Japanese release date of November 1 for Persona 3 is just around the corner, though there still has been no official word whether or not this game will be coming to other regions.

I applaud developers for this kind of fan service. It's a pretty minor thing, but very cool to see nonetheless.
