Halo Waypoint Coming to Xbox 360 This November

This dashboard will offer unique content to Halo fans.

Halo Waypoint is an upcoming Dashboard coming to Xbox 360 this Fall and is a collaborative effort between Certain Affinity and 343 Industries.

Recently, Microsoft released a video depicting all of the features unique to the Halo Waypoint Dashboard, and that video, along with additional screenshots, can be viewed below.

The Dashboard will have two main areas: Career and Intel. When in the Intel area, gamers can access a variety of Halo content including fiction, articles, video, screenshots, and much more. This area "contains exclusive content [gamers] won't be able to get anywhere else," such as episodes of the upcoming Halo anime.

Career will track the accomplishments of gamers for particular Halo games. At launch, Career will track achievements in Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, and any DLC for those particular games.

Halo Waypoint will be available on November 7 to both Silver and Gold XBLA members, however, after a three week trial, Silver members will have to purchase a Gold membership to keep their access to Halo Waypoint.

This reminds me the Metal Gear Solid Database thing that's available on the PS3. Really awesome feature for fans of the series (both accounts).
