Final Fantasy XIII Release Date Announcement Coming Soon?

A casting call hints that US fans should know before the release in Japan.

Final Fantasy XIII still does not have a set release date in North America, though Japanese gamers will be able to pick up the game in a month and a half on December 17.

A recent casting call held by Liz Paulson Casting in Los Angeles is requesting someone to read a developer commentary script that will dub over the reveal of "an exclusive never before seen look at Final Fantasy XIII." The trailer will also feature a panning camera that closes with the release date.

There is currently no word from Square Enix on when the release date will be announced. Given the release date of the Japanese game, the announcement will need to precede its release in order to feature never-before-seen footage of the game.

The casting call posting is available below.
