Resident Evil 5 To Be Compatible With Sony's Motion Controller

The newly announced Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition will be compatible with Sony's motion controller.

At Sony's Tokyo Game Show Press Conference, they revealed that Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition will be compatible with Sony's motion controller. Both are scheduled for a spring 2010 release.

The new controller will also be made compatible with existing games such as LittleBigPlanet, Flower, and more.

Resident Evil 4 was also remade with motion controls as Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, which sold more than a million copies.

I'm all about pointer controls for RE5, but the setup they were using to demo that was all sorts of weird. So I have to hold a PS3 controller in my left hand and the wand in my right? Though I'd have to shell out some more cash, I'm hoping Sony releases a Nunchuk-like peripheral that can also be used to make the setup less cumbersome.

I might actually play RE5 now...

Controllers do seem awkward, though.

In my Honest Opinion.. I need more then this to get me to buy this Game again. Just seems so little. Now unless this gets a Price worthy say $30-$40 I may think about it but Full price will turn me off.

I just think they need more content, but hey RE4 on Wii did Fine so what do I know
