No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise Won't Feature Motion Controls

While both Sony and Microsoft's machines will soon have motion control capabilities, Marvelous won't be leveraging the hardware.

In a recent interview with Edge Online, Yasuhiro Wada, president of Marvelous Entertainment revealed that the HD port of No More Heroes, No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise will not feature motion controls.

Wada stated that even though both of the target platforms are set to feature motion control in the future, they are "reworking the control scheme to improve the sense of being in the game," while avoiding "uncommon new technology."

The interview also revealed that Grasshopper Manufacture, creators of the original title, would not be responsible for the port. Instead, Feelplus, co-developers of Lost Odyssey, amongst other games, will be in charge of the port.

Though Wada made it clear that for the time being motion controls were out of the question, he did not rule out the possibility that the functionality may be included sometime in the future.
