I was a big fan of NBA 2k12.  When I bought my ps3, i ended up abandoning the 360 version of 2k12 and starting a new "my player" on the ps3 version.  2K13 is showing how realistic it is, but through that is making me question if im enjoying it nearly as much.  Let me explain

Well in 2k13, I was drafted by the Portland.  I was coming off the bench, eventually making it to starter, but the team isn't very good.  Typically by the 3rd quarter we are down by 10.  I can pretty much go out there an try and take as many shots as I'd like, pad my stats, things like that.  I wanted a trade, since yeah, we were miserable but had a record of 4-15, weren't any closer to winning anything, and I wanted to be on a better team.  Maybe I would be able to raise my stats quicker.

Trade happens, to the LA Lakers.  Now, its a COMPLETELY different feel from every team i've played on from 2k12 and 2k13.  This is a team that has Kobe Bryant, who is a one man team.  Dwight Howard, who is a force inside but bricks every free throw.  Steve Nash, who is one of the greatest point guards the league has seen in years.

So I am a starter with the team, but as a very out of position small forward.  Every game I have been getting beat like a rented mule by my opponent.  The man I'm supposed to guard will be able to beat me to rebounds and in the paint most of the time.  And since the Lakers have amazing PG and SG, I won't be moved out of the position.  

BUT...

Since they got me, they went from 4th to 1st in the conference.  We have beaten teams by an average of 25 points a game.  Up to 10 in a row now.  Steamrolling the league.

After seeing how the Heat were amazing earlier this season when they had their huge winning streak and now I see my guy is part of a special team, do i just keep playing and try and improve?  start a new player?  I don't know.  I'm gonna keep up with LA for now to see what happens.  Maybe video Kobe will jack up his MCL like real Kobe?
