Think I'm the only one into console wars? Think again! Read this!

There is a movie in the works about the legendary 16-bit wars between the Sega Genesis and the Super Nintendo. It is due out in August! It will simply be titled "Console Wars." It is tied into a book of the same name, I believe. I will go see it!

Also, on the current console war, Xbox One sales have suddenly taken a nosedive. Things are so bad that Microsoft is taking desperate measures to keep up in the UK. Get This! Not only will there be a price cut for Xbox One, but Titanfall--Microsofts premiere game--will come with it! Astounding! I am floored by that decision! That takes guts and has earned a bit of respect from me for MS.

If they repeat this worldwide, it could be the spark MS needs to compete with the one home system that is taking the console world by storm: the PS4. This chance taking effort by MS could be the only way Xbox One can survive. I would rather Xbox One die, but this will make for an exciting war, rather than a slaughter, at least.

Oh, and PLEASE, anyone with the guts on this site, engage me with exciting conversations about console wars from any generation. This can be a positive topic.

I read a story about customers buying XBOXOnes just to play the Titan Fall Beta. The game is releasing on PC and 360 so I don't know how many potential customers MS loses if the game is not exclusive. I recently read a thread on Neogaf that claims a low end video card runs Titan Fall better than XBOne. I might play the PC version myself if I decide to pick up the game some time.

I'm not a PC gamer, but if you have the expensive setup, then it sounds like that is the way to go. For Xbox One's sake, it should have been exclusive to that system. Thanks for commenting.

Actually, wasn't Titan Fall also coming to PS4 but MS bought exclusivity rights for the game. I think Destiny will launch on all platforms and might possibly over take Titan Fall in popularity, but I can't say for certain. I just really don't want to pay for Gold Service or whatever on XBOXone when I already have internet on PC. I have a mid range PC setup, and I can play most new games just fine. I'm not a pc master race type, I prefer classic console and portables, but having a PC setup nowadays is nice.

I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if MS did buy the rights to that game. MS needs Titanfall with their slow XBONE sales.

As for the PC thing, it is understandable. I wouldn't mind having a nice PC setup for older games that are hard to find.

Console wars from that era are different than console wars now. Sega actually promoted a huge campaign against Nintendo, which Nintendo retaliated against, which is somewhat interesting looking back on it. Now all we had that was anything like that was Sony owning MS at E3, and ever since the Xbone reversed that, it's ending completely. Trust me, no one's going to be making a movie on PS4 vs Xbone unless one of them causes the company to go bankrupt.

Did you see that Xbox One was recently named product of the year? It got the award for home entertainment. I guess those people don't pay much attention to sales figures.
