Microsoft's desperate and petty tactics to win console war.

It is no secret that PS4 is ahead of Xbone by far worldwide. Did you know that PS4 is even winning so far in the US, In MS' home turf? Well MS sure has noticed, and they are deploying extreme tactics to win the console war. Some of these tactics--at least one is--may be decieving.

Despite Microsoft's Xbone #1 anti PS4 weapon, Titanfall, releasing in march, PS4 still won the console sales in March, even in the US. This is on top of Titanfall being bundled free with the Xbox One, price cutting, and PS4 shortages. How does MS handle this?

MS handles this with multiple tactics. Not only has MS cut Xbone's price in the MS store, but they are claiming big things that may or may not be true. 1. They claimed the power of the cloud will improve Xbone's lagging performance as compared to the PS4. Ofcourse, I don't think they actually mentioned PS4, but I think it is obvious. You see, 1080P and a fast framerate is very difficult for Xbone to achieve. 2. They also claim that Direct X 12 will improve Xbox One performance. They claim these two things wirthout proof. At least one of these so called improvements were displayed on a high end PC, not an Xbox One. 3. This is the one that is obvious trickery: MS claims to have sold five million Xbox Ones. Sounds great doesn't it? Well, the rest of it is that it has been sold that many to retailers! To customers, it has been sold only around 4.3 million. PS4 has passed the seven million mark. MS wants people to think that Xbone is only 2 million behind to sound better. That kind of play on words is almost angering to me. It makes them look petty to me.

The news doesn't stop there folks! MS has recently promoted Phil Spencer to head Xbox at MS. His stance on Xbox One? Games first! Alright, games first!... wait a minute! That is a 360 degree "haha" turn! That goes against what MS said before and against Xbox One's very name and purpose: To be the ONE device for all home entertainment. It is not supposed to be a game machine first and other entertainment second.

How much will MS continue to change and flip flop on? Remember their DRM online at all times and no used game policy? Remember the RROD disaster of last generation? MS simply cannot be trusted.

After a long bitter and valiant struggle, the PS3 put the Xbox 360 in last place in the last generation. May the PS4 bury the Xbox brand for good.
