Embracing PC gaming continues to be economically rewarding. Here's my haul from the Steam Summer Sale.

Alice: Madness Returns - $4.99
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - $4.99
BioShock Infinite Season Pass - $9.99
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut - $4.99
Gone Home - $2.99
Hydrophobia: Prophecy - $0.74
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - $4.99
Organ Trail Director's Cut - $1.99
Rage - $4.99
Remember Me - $9.89
Resident Evil 6 - $9.99

Total: $60.54

I've already played Alice, Hydrophobia, and RE6 on console but wanted the PC versions. I've also wanted Gone Home ever since Travis reviewed it. I was waiting until it hit $5, so $3 was a pleasant surprise. I've already started Rage, and it's great so far.

But wait, there's more! Late last night, with only 12 hours of the sale remaining, my wife (who also uses my Steam account) announced she was buying Goat Simulator. So...I also own Goat Simulator.

I actually didn't spend a dime this year. I'm proud of myself. Plus, I already own most of the games that were on sale. LOL.Cry

I'm almost there myself, which is actually kind of sad. This sale cleaned up my wishlist quite a bit. At least a few new things will be released before the autumn sale.

During the steam sale all I picked up was Shovel Knight, for the 3DS.

Haha. Fair enough. I played the Xbox 360 version and enjoyed it well enough for what it is. I believe the PC version was updated with a few improvements, so I figured I'd check it out. Funny story, though - I waited until the end of the sale to buy it because I was waiting to see if it'd be a community or flash sale and go even lower than 74 cents.
